On your school voucher prize. For the last decade with have been working with schools in our area as part of our community fundraising. In that time we’ve photographed numerous families and helped raise essential fund for local schools.
We hope you will enjoy your family photography session at the Memory Gate Studio. As your family grows so does your children’s character. We easily forget how quickly this happens and how fast time passes when we’re busy getting on with our lives. Photography is all about capturing a moment in time that will never be repeated. It’s more than just a snapshot on your phone. Our job as professional photographers is not only to offer a great experience but to give you something you can treasure forever.
Your photography studio portrait experience lasts about an hour on the day but some people like to stay a bit longer to enjoy a luxury hot chocolate in The Photo Cafe afterwards!
Arriving at the studio
Please try and arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time so that we do not overrun and have enough time to get the best pictures we can. It’ll also give us plenty of time to let everyone relax and feel comfortable before the fun starts! When you arrive at the studio you’ll be able to see samples of some of our work and amazing wall art in The Photo Cafe. This is also the chance for us to discuss what type of pictures you’d like us to create. Arrive early enough and they’ll certainly be time for a delicious hot chocolate or flat white before your session.
Your family photoshoot
Each family shoot normally takes about an hour. Our studio can comfortably accommodate at least 10 adults and we’ll more than happily photograph the family pets too. In the photo studio we have a changing room and Hollywood style mirrors for you to touch up make up and adjust your hair. During your photoshoot there’s plenty of time for outfit and background changes. There are numerous ways in which we approach your family photos. Your images can be fun, natural or just a classic family portrait. If you don’t wan tot be in the pictures then we’re more than happy just to give the kids their own photoshoot.
Viewing and ordering your photos
Once your shoot is complete we’ll book in a viewing and ordering appointment for you. Your viewing is normally booked in a week after your photo shoot, leaving us plenty of time to beautifully edit all of your stunning family photos.
When you return to the studio and our viewing lounge you’ll be treated to a slideshow video of your photos. We’ll then guide you through the process of selecting and ordering your favourite photos.
We take card or cash payments on the day and payment plans are also available for any additional purchases you wish to make outside your voucher allowance.
Your voucher includes 8×6 in mounted print (worth £89) and £50 to spend on our packages.
