F.A.Q.

The cost of professional photos of your dog can vary widely depending on factors such as the photographer’s experience, location and what products you want.
We take a simple deposit to secure the session and what you decide to spend depends what you want to order. Most families tend to spend around £500 on packages or products.
It’s a good idea to research different photographers in your area, look at their images, and inquire about their pricing and packages to find one that fits your budget and meets your needs. Keep in mind that investing in professional photos of your dog can capture special moments and memories that you’ll cherish for years to come.
For a photoshoot with your dog, it’s best to wear something comfortable and practical that allows you to move freely and interact with your pet. Here are some tips for what to wear:

Neutral colours: Avoid wearing clothes with busy patterns or bright colours that could distract from the main focus of the photos, which is you and your dog. Neutral colours like white, beige or soft pastels work well and complement most pets’ fur colours.

Coordinate with your dog: While you don’t need to match exactly, it can be nice to coordinate your outfit with your dog’s accessories or colours. For example, if your dog has a red collar, you could wear a subtle red accessory or accent in your outfit.

Avoid clothing with logos or graphics: These can be distracting in photos, so opt for simple, understated clothing instead.
Yes, pet photography is definitely a thing!  It’s a popular niche within the photography industry.
As family photographers we encourage people to bring pets as they are definitely members of the family! Professional Pet photography can be a fun and rewarding for both photographers and families.

How to prepare for your maternity photoshoot?

We always recommend that you bring a couple of outfit changes for your maternity photo session. When choosing your outfits it is best to keep things as simple as possible. A figure hugging black dress is always lovely as are plain blog colours.
Strips also work well as they really show off the bump!

What kind of maternity pictures do you want?

The most popular pregnancy photos are usually simply posed and beautiful lit images that show off a little bit of bump. Couples photos are always popular, especially with first time parents. If this isn’t your first child then it is always nice to get older siblings in the photos. Sometimes they are ones most excited about the pregnancy and it makes for some adorable pictures.

What's next after maternity photoshoot?

Most maternity photography sessions are usually followed by a newborn photoshoot a few weeks later.
We encourage any expectant parent to have a maternity photography studio shoot beforehand.
Our Newborn photoshoots are certainly one of our most popular shoots we do. It’s a great chance to capture those precious first few days when your baby is still so tiny.
